I`ll Steal You Away

Niccolo Ammaniti`s beautifully written and sharply felt novel tells the story of a sensitive Italian boy trapped in a crappy town surrounded by his beastly family. His life surprisingly crosses with that of Graziano, an over-the-hill performer who returns to his home town as a hero, but quickly descends into abject middle-age. Both of them strive hungrily for love and happiness, but the world leaves them famished.
